So, can anyone recommend a kitchen desginer? (Yes, I posted this on home and NWR but I know the newlyweds are the ones who are doing lots of remodeling!!) We are in N. Seaford, have a small kitchen but I want to get something nice that really optimizes the space... Thanks!!

Hi - I don't have a recommendation but I, too, have a very small kitchen. We are looking into refacing, maybe through Sears, because we aren't quite sure whether we want to expand or get a bigger house in the next few years. It is a lot cheaper then redoing the whole kitchen. Just thought I would leave this as a suggestion.

THanks but not an option -- we are staying in the house, and the kitchen's lay-out is bad. I want to tear it all out and start from square one.

You can try Home Depot for someone to do the work. They have a list of contractors. Also, there are a bunch of kitchen & bath places that might be able to help you with designing a lay out. Good Luck!

I seem to remember one of my friends telling me that Consumers will come and draw up three different plans for you to consider. They have several locations.
