I know there have to be some ppl who identify with me here...
Original post by Toucan311
I am totally disgusted with myself lately. I have leaped right off the back of the diet wagon. I just cannot get back into the swing of things. I used to be a WW lifetime member, and I am now 14 pounds over my goal weight, and a whopping 20 pounds over my lowest weight ever. I'm just so disappointed in myself I could cry. Not a single pair of my summer pants has fit me for the past two years. I just wear dresses and skirts! I don't even know what to do anymore. I'm thinking of going back to WW tomorrow, b/c I know they have a meeting in East Islip at 5pm, but I'm so embarrassed at how little willpower I've had.
I'm not the only one, right?

I cannot imagine my scale ever telling me I'm 125.5.
Girllllllllllllllllll who are you telling. I swear I would kiss it and wear it as a chain around my neck.
The day it says 145.5 again I think I'll take a photo and post it.

You are not alone.. I have gained about 10 pounds since the wedding and I cannot get myself to loose them! I feel like complete crap and have no desire to even try to loose them. I tell myself just about everyday today's the day.. and then the day goes by and I'm back to my old habits..
I also recently came off of BC which is such a pain cause I don't loose the weight that I gain with it until about 6 months... Hopefully the weight will come off soon...

<----- gained 20 lbs since my wedding
And I will not leave my house in shorts EVER... hate my legs & cellulite
We should have a thread, who DOESN'T have these issues with themselves... i think it would be a very short thread

What in the hell is that creature?
I have a very sad stack of size 6 pants in my closet. Right now I am barely fitting into the 8's, and I refuse to buy 10's.
i am with you completely on the above. I gave in and bought a size 10 pair of jeans and am MISERABLE about it. It took me so long to get into sixes and eights....
i joined WW like a month ago. I had joined once before, years ago. I actually did the same and would leave, but now i think it's important to stay for meetings. my friend was overweight, got pregnant, and gained 70lbs. she's now about 40 lbs overweight. she inspired me to go to WW and said meetings are key. I gained about 15 lbs since the wedding. my first week i lost 5 lbs, but I'm always really good the first week; I gained the following week. this week I already blew through my 'extra' points so I'm screwed. I also really like this program - no more flex or core; it's much simpler.
for me, I need to weigh in to keep motivated. I went to a nutritionist like 4 years ago for stupid stomach (and weight) issues and lost like 20 lbs. it was awesome.

I'm actually in the same exact situation. I mean, it's pretty much identical because i too am now 20 pounds heavier than my lowest weight and about 13, 14 pounds away from my goal. It used to be easy for me, but I've just lost the willpower. And that really upsets me. I know that I can do it on my own without WW since I've done it many times in the past. But I just can't get myself to STAY on track. Grrrrr!!!!!! It's hard!

ive gained about 20 pounds since the wedding, maybe a tiny bit over that. I can't stand it and don't feel comfortable at all. Nothing is fitting me. However, i got to the breaking point not long ago and have been eating right, working out here and there but have to work out ALOT more. Ive lost some weight but still have more to go. It's very frustrating and makes it worse that summer is almost here. I actually had lost a decent amount right before easter, then we had one event after another plus got my period that week, and gained some back so now back on track. Im short with a short torso so that just makes it worse, 5-10 pounds on me looks like 10-20 on someone else

I have been really struggling.....gained about 10-12 since the wedding. The worst part is, now that I am wearing my spring clothes from last year, nothing fits. I also injured my foot, so I have been exercising a lot less, and that's not helping!

The best thing I have found is to take it one day at a time and set small goals for myself. I used to set astronomical goals for myself. But now I have them in 5 pound increments!
