Ok I was like near tears today in the city...part of it was my hangover, the other part was my coat just isn't warm enough...
Does anyone have recs for a WARM dress coat thats affordable? I love the J Crew ones but they're SO expensive...

I have a North Face ski coat that is really toasty. Its on the casual side so I dunno if that is what you are looking for.

Ugh 2 work parties this week...our office one and then a client one last night. I will be asleep soon...lol, I got home at 430! WTFFFFFFFF?
Anyway, yeah North Face is too casual for what i'm looking for. I have a puffy coat thats SUPER warm but thats why I can't wear it to work, bc its a puffy coat! haha

I actually have a Northface that isn't so casual. I bought it like 2 years ago when I was working in the city and dealing with the same problem you are. They even have a couplke that are a bit more 'dressy' This is it:

I went to Nordstrom Rack a couple of weeks ago and they had a TON of gorgeous coats for under 170. Some go for less than 100 and others over a 100. All brand names like Anne Klein, DKNY, Via Spiga, Betsey Johnson to name a few.
