I need help (and pictures!)

Need opinions....

So DH and I decided after much discussion (more like me saying STOP being a SILLY PAIN about this!) to change my wedding bands for something else.

Originally the rings they were suppsoed to make for me were very delicate looking-half eternity bands. what I got..well lets just say I have never been happy with them at all. I tried to raise the question that day in the store but DH is the type of person who hates confrontation even when its necessary so instead of blaming the jelweer whose fault it was, he started with 'You're making me feel bad because you don't like what I picked out.'

Um NO. I picked them out! He changed the design (jewleer not DH) and I tried to let it go but I really do not like my rings and its too much money to be wearing on my hand if I hate them. So I apporached the topic again calmly and finalyl got my way. Now he is all agreeable. Go figure.

Anywya my rings are fused together now so hard to see what the e ring looks like, but this one is identical to my ring.

What kind of band do you think would compliment it well? Because its a pave design, if I do plain big diamonds across like an eternity band it sorta looks clashy I think.

Any suggestions and pics are REALLY welcome!

your ring looks thick..do u have a band, and engagment ring in the middle, and than another band?

when we were looking.. i went to michael c fina to get an idea of a style that would go well with my ring.. ours too were custom made by a friend of the family so the only way was to go in and out of jewelery stores..

Yea I know April. Thats why I hate it. It was supposed to be delicate because my E ring is delicate. But its so thick and blocky. I hate them and its nto DH's fault other than not wanting to speak up and call the jewlwer we've been using for years (he's been using him for 15 including me) an @ss.

I have tiny fingers-size 4 and they're just shaped small soit almost looks mannish. I liek Jenn's ideas.

Yea I have two bands and the ering in the middle. the two bands are not the issue-original ones I picked out were 2 also, but they were very thin and looked delicate. These were custom amde for my ring but he fawked up and tried to get over and he did until I finally just had enough of seeing other women's rings and hating mine.

jenn, can you have a jeweler make a band to match the side part of the band of your ering? that way its a perfect match, what do you think?

Well we did have the jewlwer custom my rings-he fawked up. Thats why Im afraid to have him do it again but he has to because now we will be trading in my diamonds in the two bands and the gold of course of the setting, for a new ring. probably going with one band now.

Thank you! Do you guys think that a pave eternity band would look all rigth even though its a diff style pave than what i have now? I think what i have is called a knife edge. I want my wedding abnd to be sparkly but because the stones are so small and closesly set together in the engagement ring it almost looks like a plain band with engraving (which is whY DH chose it knowing I like antique engraved rings) so will that clash you think with something liek you posted or Jenn did?

i'd need to see the two in person together!! i'm the worst at this!!

but it sounds like they would compliment it each other well..

maybe try some of your photoshop tricks to see the two next to each other??

Yea I need visuals too or i stink at decisions. i'll try the PS suggestion and see. I just wantto get it RIGHT this time
