Ok so you ladies know our Day-After Shoot is in May. we're not trying to recreate the wedding day at all-going for a much more casual look overall because for one, I am NOT growing out my hair again lol. Sooo its casual.
Simnce I hated my dress (and still do) I was thinking of trying to jazz it up a little since my hair and everything else will be more laid back, so it doesn't look like I 'don't belong' in a wedding dress.
This is not my dress obviously but what do you think of tying a red sash like this around my waist? Its just a 2 inch wide ribbon. I could even attach a brooch to the middle of the sash to keep it from slipping and make it look lil' bit more 'wedding' for the pics.
This was my dress..It has no embellishment on it over than the lace overlay.

but i like the sash idea.
i wore a silk bolaro that matched my silk sash for part of the night.. u can wear my bolaro! 'something borrowed'

AWWWWW I luv you Ro!!! I wish I could sew too. My mom sews though nothing as phenomenal as your family. we got jumpers as kids lol. Thats about it. My favorite one ahd hippo buttons on it!
Did you wear a bolero? I have to look at your pics again.
BTW what does your avatar say? Its driivng me nuts. I even tried doing a google translator lmao and can't figure it out.

jen i absolutely LOVE the idea - and love that it's going to go great with ur adorable hot shoes i also think u should put a red flower in ur hair.... AND, just something to think about, if ur photographer is shooting digital, i'm sure she'll let you peek at the photos to see if u're likeing the sash. but i love the idea. i think it'll look great - and it'll be fun to play with the graphics afterwards too(ie: whole pic black & white except for the red accents ) go for it!

yea i wore it for part of the night.. wore it into the entrance & for the 1st dance. and wore it at the end of the night cuz i was cold idk if i posted pix??? lemme check.
my avatar says basically 'mind your own fcking business' in italian 'Cazzi' is the proper way to say the overly mispronounced 'gatz' aka- BALLS lollll so theres no literal translation but thats basically what it means.

think the red would look nice...
with pictures taken digitaly.. guess the day of you can always ask the photographer for a sneak peak to see if you like the way it looks in the pictures...remove if not and put bakc on..
but i've seen pictures with colorful sashes and they look great1

I looked bad WITH the veil but my aunt made it and i just HAD to wear it for the grand entrance.. everyone told me not to [including my aunt] but i didnt care i didnt want to wear the veil for the whole reception so i just said ehhh F it ill wear it all
