I need hugs!!

Hi, guys,

Ok, just feeling a little down today and need some encouragement.

Went to dr. this AM for ultrasound to see where we stand. He said it looks like I'll 'surge' any day now so to keep testing at home. Once I 'surge', I can come in next day for insemination. Unfortunately, the meds he put me on didn't work so there's only one egg. He said we can try injectible meds next month if nothing happens this month. Needless to say, I cried all the way to work between this and then stupid Luther Vandross ( I don't mean that-I loved Luther Vandross) had to come on radio & start singing about dancing with his father again and I just lost it. Really miss my Dad!!

DH said we'll play some 'Rocky' theme music tonight for the little guy-get him all pumped up!! Because it only takes one egg, right?

Anyway, thanks for listening; sorry I haven't been on that much lately. Love you all and hope you're having a great day.

It DOES only take one egg!!!! Don't worry, everything will work out! If not this month, next month, but keep thinking positive that this is the month!!!!

Sweetie Im gonna tell you something my DH has to tell me ALL the time. Dont get yourself worked up and upset BEFORE the outcome. I do this all the time but you know he is right. Just because you only have one egg does not mean that it wont happen this month for you. It WILL happen when its meant to happen for you. Im sorry about your dad though WHY is it that those songs always come on at the worst times!!! Just be patient and pray and we will all do the same for you. I know it will happen for you, I can just feel it. Love you babe!

Hey your post made me cry I'm missin my dad these days too, I get sad knowing he won't know my dad other than through me and the family... but you know I really think dad and my little boy on board have 'met' upstairs already....
AND
I read your post and TOTALLY thought that hearing the Luther song was a gift FROM your Dad -a little encouragement after your tough morning.
