im pregnant and finding out what i am having on feb 9th (but we are waiting until valentines day to find out) so my in laws and parents are so excited to find out..(1st grandchild) i need cute ideas on how to tell them its a boy or a girl..any suggestions? i was going to send the grandparents flowers with all pink or blue colors..but i dont know if that is a good idea..thanks for suggestions!!

Or what about have It's a Girl or It's a Boy balloon tied to the house for when they come home from work.

I like the flower idea - original and appropriate for valentines day! You can also have one of those little helium ballons (the ones that are on a stick) put in with the flowers also that say 'It's a Boy' or 'It's a Girl' if you want too.

When my cousin was pregnant she invited her parents and her husbands parents over and had blue balloons everywhere.

My friend sent her parents & IL's a frame with a picture of her, DH & their daughter with a caption that said 'Guess how many people are in this picture?' But that doesn't help since they all know your PG.
I do love your ideas though about sending blue or pink flowers.

I like the balloon idea but if you want to make it more personal, I would get the bibs I love my grandpa and I love my grandma in the color of the sex and wrap it in neutral colors of paper and a plain white tote bag. then if you are doing dinner, have the plates and the table cloth napkins in the baby colors too.

I think this is a great idea!!! Maybe you could also buy frames that say something like 'My granddaughter' or 'My grandson'.
