I need to b!tch for a second....

I just made a student loan payment and stupid me decided to go look at my payment history...

since i graduated from grad school I have paid 16k to my student loan... you know how much principal was applied? less than 3k.

KILL ME. why do I even look at these things?????

I know that it works this way and the majority goes to interest, but really, I'm going to paying my loan off until I'm 70 at this rate. fantastic.

ok, moving on...

I don't look at my car loan nor DH's school loan for this matter. Also I don't look at my 401k statement often cause I did about a year ago and wanted to puke!

Omg! That's really high interest! I had a subsidized and unsubsidized loan. I consolidated after grad and it lowered the interest. I would call and see if there is anything you can do. I also would pay extra every month if you can swing it.
