I organize my block party--help me

Last year I had a 65 ft obstacle course, moon bounce, dunk tank and ralphs italian ices..

Any other suggestions?

My MOH had one last summer that was fun. They rented couches from Rent A Center for the day & put them on their front lawn. So much fun. We sat there drinking wine until 10 pm.

They also rented a cotton candy machine, That was a big hit

We do have an ice luge lol
But I'm just looking for kid friendly things for now.

I think a cotton candy machine will be a big hit with the kids!!

what about

- face painting
- a magician
- an appearance by Elmo (or Dora or whatev)
- Sand Art
- karaoke to kids songs...

That is NOT FUNNY..............

how about a whole kids 'crafting' area...

A table for finger painting and for the older kids - regular painting...

A table with beads so anyone can make jewelery...

A table with sand for sand stuffage...

A table with paper & crayons and all kids of fun colored glue, etc..

just thinking of things they did a DH's company picnic over the years..

the potato sac slide thing(i have no idea what the formal name for it is!!) the giant slide thing..

they had a decorate cupcake area..hula hoops, yo-yos

build a bear

soccer shoot out...

then your typical carnival games - tins cans, basketball, watergun thing where you blow up the balloon..

mini petting zoo area, pony rides..

hth!!

A balloon artist
Something with those super soaker waterguns, like a paintball game where they can soak each other, does such a thing exist?
A scavenger hunt with prizes throughout the day

last year for what I mentioned it was $50 a house...

I wonder if people will have problems paying extra again for more activities lol
