I really cant stand it...

Original post by PegaLega

When you offer out help to someone via FM and they dont say thank you. Normally, if someone ask a little question I dont care...but if you go out of your way to ask me something that is privy to me...say THANK YOU or kiss my rump...some B2B and NWs are just soooo rude and should be beaten with a spoon

Me too - in fact - I wrote a really nice, long FM to a NW who was having some troubles - thought we could help each other out. She needed some cash, I was offering to patronize her...

Not even a 'thanks, but no thanks.'

It is nice to get a thank you as an acknowledgement for the time and effort we put in to the reply I agree with you on that. Most of the time though I don't really give it a second thought.

It's an online community so it's not as formal as everyday life. I know on here I have a few FM's I have to reply to but It's been a busy few weeks and sometime IRL I am a bit slower getting the thank yous out than I would like to be. Your good deeds don't go unnoticed though.

The only time it annoys me is when I type out this whole LONG response and answer to their question...THEN get nothing...I want to smack someone and ask if their mother ever taught them manners

Peggy you're so right!! Just a 'thank you' would do.

Wow... can you beat ME with a spoon??? I may like it!!!

But in all seriousness... I do appreciate a thank you myself and feel as though when you do something for someone, they should say thanks..

i agree. have had several b2b's ask for advice and never even a simple 'ty.'

and if i have inadvertently not thanked any of you, my apologies right here, right now! think i'm all up to date though... hope so!

Re: I really cant stand it...

I know exactly how you feel Peggie ....

Especially the rude B2Bs that asked me for info on something while I was on my honeymoon, and then wrote a nasty post on the boards complaining about 'other girls not responding to their FMs' ... because isn't 'this site supposed to be about sharing' AND then when I got back from my honeymoon and responded explaining about being on my HM and being in severe pain, they never bothered to say thank you for the info.

I wonder what the B2Bs would say if the NWs went on strike and didn't respond to their FMs for a few days
