Have to share....so I went to Fortunoff's yesterday because DH gave me permission to use some of the wedding $$ to get a few more sets of China. I only have 2. So It was normally 159, on sale for $94. I go there and there and they have NO TAX ON ANYTHING! PLUS I had my 10% off coupon for registery items. So I got 4, then realized it was no tax and made her get another set, then decided to get another! Basically I got 6 sets for $84 EACH! That is like 1/2 off!!!!!
WHOO HOO
THEN, I went to BB&B to get my pots....well I had so much credit and gift cards that I got them for FREE, AND they had an AMAZING BONUS. If you spent over 400 on Calphalon you get a 10 qt. dutch oven (Price sticer said $175) with a pot holder and a wooden spoon AND a $50 GIFT CARD~ Basically they PAID me to get free pots! Isn't that AMAZING!
DId you know fortunoff lets you use bed bath and beyond coupons as long as they carry the item??
That is pretty awesome

That's a GREAT DEAL! I can't wait until I move out of Manhattan and have a house (aka, storage space), so I can do the same thing.
Congrats on your awesome purchases.

I have the same pattern, last week the lady from the registry dept. called me to tell me they were having at 1 day sale the best of the year, at first I was like yeah yeah yeah, but then she said it would be on sale for $59.99 plus the 10% off for the completion program so my MIL bought 3 and I bought 2 to finish my entire set and it was a $263 for all 5 place settings at $53.99 each!!!
You can def get good sales on.. did you know they sell it in the outlets too? someone told me its 'seconds' but you pick the pieces so sometimes you can;t even tell and a 5 piece place setting is only $50! I might go out and try to buy the accessory pieces since they are a ton of $$!! Congrats enjoy your stuff!

So last night was the first time I used it, and all I did was boil water in the little pot for tea...and the HANDLE GOT HOT! I asked the guy in the store and he said it wouldn't. It wasn't hot all the way up, just at the wide part closest to the pot itself. Does this happen to yours? I didn't even use the lid...now I am wondering if the lid handle gets hot....?
