I survived camping!!!!!!!!!!!! PICS INSIDE FOR YOUR VIEWING PLEASURE!

woohooo!!

first i need to express how awesome i am... i give myself a pat on the back cause i have been sick for more than a week now. finally on friday morning (when i was supposed to leave for camping) - i went to the doctor and was told i had a nasal/sinus infection, pink eye, and an ear infection....not to mention all the chese congestion. BUT because i did not want to bail on the trip--i still went!

So myself, my DH and soontobemrsvpt (Heather) and her DH drove 3 hrs upstate to do some serious camping. it was freaking great

Let me also preface that i am EXTREMELY sick in this pics--so i look like crap---and neither of us have make up on or have showered. lol i am quite brave for posting

i have to say--i really loved it. but i mean we weren't like hard core roughing it. we had our little poop tent with a potty.....we had a special propane grill for camping--we brough an easy up canopy to stay dry under in case it rained (which it did--- HEAVILY )

plus we had an air mattress to sleep on in the tents. but i would TOTALLY do it again......i hope to make it an annual trip !

These pictures are halirious and that last picture, omg soo funny! Ive never went camping and i dont think i ever will quite make it there lol, b/c it seems like way too much work lol. But kudos to you both! looked like lots of fun

I'm impressed cause I REFUSE to pee in the woods so we need to camp near some sort of bathroom facility which makes the camping experience much easier

Yeah i know what you mean. we did sometimes go in the wild---but mainly we used the poop tent. if i didn't have that little potty i don't know how i would have survived.

kudos to heather for being brave enough to clean it out! i wouldn't have been able to handle that.

Holy Crap I would NOT be able to do that

well at least it came with these like chemicals--you put it in the water and that way the um....waste...rapidly dissolves. but still...i probably would have hurled.

too bad heather is working (she's a teacher) she'd tell you herself how great that part was!

I LOVE the pictures.. Good god though, some of those pictures make me look huge.. Time to tape some on the fridge..
