I think i need this bag..

I think i need this bag..

I havent bought a new bag in about 2 years. There is nothing wrong w/ the one I have. (also Coach)

Do I try and convince DH that we should get eachother 1 yr anniversary gifts after all? We are trying to get ahead and save for a house so we decided we would just do dinner this year.

Once you get the bag you will just want a different one in a bit. I say go out for a nice anniversary dinner and keep the money for your savings. Keep your eye on the prize!

do what I do! $300 for a bag, if you use it for the whole year, it's less than $1,00 a day!!

Hmmm well you said you haven't bought a bag in 2 years so I think you might deserve one now if you want. You already showed control over spending and obviously have been doing well and once in a while you just need to do something for yourself.

Maybe wait a few weeks until after the anniversary dinner and figuring out finances with saving the house. Maybe you can find a little wiggle room. Maybe finding other areas where you can save for a few weeks to save for the bag. Like bringing lunch to work instead of buying it from around you if you do that, or finding a way to cut back on groceries for a week or 2.

Well, I should add that I just got a new camera recently that wasnt cheap. I worked OT to pay it off though. Then we got a new car so we have higher pmts.

I showed DH and he said we need a house first LOL

I'll have to think about it. He may kill me. But its not like I buy clothes EVER. And, I would use it every summer for like the next 3 years.

I think I will go to the store to see it in person and see if i even like it.

maybe trying the coach outlet to see what they have and this way you save money.

Or wait until closer to the summer and save a little until then.

See, clothes I cannot justify b/c they will just be big in a month, but a bag has no size. I can be a size 18 or a size 4 and it will still fit haha

hey if you're not buying clothes right now then think of all the money you are saving just by doing that. Then this bag won't be that bad.

Love the bag, but how about a compromise. Can you go to the outlets and find something that you like for about half the cost? I am coach w h ore so I know what its like to want a new bag.
