I THOUGHT A PLANE WAS ABOUT TO CRASH INTO OUR BUILDING

ok UMMMMM so my friend and I are sitting at our desks eating lunch and allll of a sudden it sounded like plane was heading straight for our window....we got up and started heading for the exit b/c we LITERALLY thought it was crashing into our building. (of course we were like only ones in our area) but EVERYONE came out of there offices./meetings, ran outside to see what the HELL was going on (meanwhile sarah and I are still standing still LOL like idiots)........it passes and we breathe.....you know what it freakin was

Two fighter jets flying over our building for opening day at SHEA!!!! LOL

I'm on the 40th floor in the city, and we've always got copters flying by.

sorry but that's just too funny!! we live next to yankee stadium and it gets my dad every year!!! he always thinks we're being attacked then he curses the jets for scaring the life out of him...lolol

I HATE when Im at work and I hear helicopters and planes flying around. Im only on the 14th floor though

OMG that is SOOOOO not cool!!! I don't know but for YEARS after 9/11 I'd watch low flying planes with trepidation... (I worked downtown in 2001 and am in midtown now), seriously i might've had a panic attack!!!!

don't feel bad...after 9-11 when a truck would go down the block i'd freak at the loud banging noise....our office was 2 blocks from the WTC and a landing gear crashed thru the roof of the building next door..lots of loud bangs that day ...why i am happy to be far away from all that

I work in a hospital. My office is on the 7th floor, which is the top floor of our building. THe first week I was there, I hear and see a helicopter about to practically come through the window and almost freaked.

Only later did I learn that the helipad is on the roof of my building.

I used to live a few blocks away from Fenway Park and they used to fly fighter jets overhead all the time. I know that sound...it's SOOO freaking loud and scary.
