SHUTUP - I was at the game tonight and in my section there was this girl that I SWORE looked like you!!! And then I passed by her (you?? ) on the way out and I thought once again, DANG that reallllly looks like Devon, lol. Any chance you have one heck-of-a suntan and were wearing something strapless, hanging with a girl with crutches???

THe game was awesome! We were going to stay for the concert but opted not to.

& we totally didn't realize is was merengue night when we got there and I was like what the hel l why did I get a spanish program.....lol then when those girls sang i was like ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

ok, so that officially means that your doppelganger was at Shea today!!!!!!! I was in the loge, section 3 behind home plate.


And on another note, THOSE GIRLS SUCKKKKKED ASSSSSSSSS!!!! OMG I was so embarrassed to be hispanic when they came on! I was like, NOOOOOO now all the non-hispanics won't know how good the music can sound!

And the lady that was announcing the players in spanish was annoying too. It was her voice

The funny thing was that DH and I overheard a couple behind us talking about how it was merengue night and there was supposed to be a concert. So the guy tells the girl 'oh yeah, it already happened. THese girls performed while you were getting the food' and it was all I could do to not turn around and say, NOOOOOOOOOOOO that was crap. The real concert is after the end of the game!

I kept turning to DH saying 'I'm getting embarassed for these poor girls,please make it stop'

& yes the woman announcing the players was ANNOYING and frankly kind of silly b/c she was only announcing the players #'s in spanish (& I know you can't say the players names but stiil)...I was like PLEASE shoosh, your voice is irritating!

My DH almost caught the foul ball during the bottom of the 7th (i think the 7th) the one that went to field level between home & first....some jerk kind of literally grabbed it from his hand, i was so mad (DH is a yankee fan to but wanted to get it for me and was pissed he didn't use two hands )

Seriously, those girls were just HORRIBLE. And the lady annoucer - could you tell the tone in her voice that said 'I'm SOOOOOO excited to be announcing these names at Shea and I'm going to sound this annoying for the ENTIRE night!'???

How annoying for you about the foul ball!!!! My mom was actually at the game too with my aunt, but they had tickets in the field level out by the right outfield and my aunt JUSTTT missed getting clonked by a foul ball at some point during the game!!! Isn't that crazy?

Next time tell your DH to FIGHT FOR IT!!!
