I dated a guy who was waaay TOO into his own looks that it really turned me off ...thru that I found a way too feminine side of him. That relationship didn't last!

Gary and I were just talking about this last night, we have friends that are very vain with each other and I said the husband would never marry me...just because I am not vain. I asked Gary would you expect me to be thin all the time (not that I am even now) and he said no Stace, I am no prize myself! We are comfortable with who we are and why we are together and I seriously doubt I'd ever cheat on him or him on me (we both have gained over the years)....if anything we are getting thinner now.

But I agree with Stef as well!

Patrick has gained double the pregnancy weight I have, and ya know what?? It just makes him look more like someone's dad!

I would not leave Roger or cheat on him, it takes more than weight. I would encourage him to work out if not for anything else, his own good health.

I love him fat or skinny. I would hope he accept me and still find me attractive if I gained a 1000lbs, I know my love for him is more than just looks.

Tonight when I go home that is a question I will have to pose to him.

I think cheating as a result of a spouse gaining weight is a reflection on the cheater as being too immature to have gotten married in the first place.

I took a long look at my husband one mroning.. and decided on our way to work that we were joiningWW the next week... i did not do it for his apperance( well it is part of it) I looked at hime naked and all I saw was this stomach
But i actually did it because he was snoring really bad and always tired... now 17 months later we are both down 90 lbs together...

When DH and I met he was 225 and I was 140 b the time we got married we had gone through losing his brother, me going to school full time etc....He is now 350 and I am 225. It is definatly emotional. He started to gain the most weight after his bro died. I would never leave in or cheat on him because of his weight. Of course I am not happy because of the health issues, for both of us.
