DH and I wrote our own vows to each other and I'd like to keep them some how. I was thinking of having a calligrapher do them up so we could put in it one of our albums? Anybody do this? Any other ideas?

I think that would be beautiful.
Or you could even frame the actual notes you both wrote in a frame with a photo or something else from your ceremony. It might be nicer to have the vows in each of your handwriting too.

Thanks Stef, I was thinking that as well except DH memorized his from like 6 ratty index cards. I also thought they may fade with time so I thought maybe we could have someone preserve them on parchment or something.

If you go to a good framing store, they will arrange it and use archival materials so the items are displayed and preserved.

I was going to suggest the same thing - I think that is a lovely idea!
