Ideas about what to do with wedding dress

My dress has been sitting in a spare room since my wedding in July! I do not have the heart to trash it and I am not sure I want to preserve the whole thing. What did you girls do with yours?? I heard of someone making a christening gown out of the train/ bottom of their dress and then I was thinking for just having the top preserved in the box. Please give me your ideas!

I'm getting it made into a pillow, a baby blanket, and something else that the seamstress is surprising me with. This way, it can be used with my future kids. Let's be real - are our daughters really going to wear the dress? I don't think so, so I'm getting it made into stuff I can use and pass down.
