I think Matttt is great and I'm glad he is going to stay. I don't think he will win Idol in the end, so they could of let him go.

yeah thats how i kinda felt too. When they said he was out, i did feel real bad though. I thought LIL should've gone home. But although i thought he was good, he was up and down and last night he didn't do well. And like you said, they should've saved the save for someone like Alison or Adam. Well more so for Allison bc Adam has never been in the bottom 3 but Alison has quite a few times and worried for her now. I dont think Matt can win or even be in top 3, hes been in the bottom before, seems like others have a bigger fan base. And they said next week 2 ppl get kicked off, now what if its Matt, the save will be pointless if so

My cousin will be happy bc he is her favorite, i feel bad bc i called her and said omg and she yelled WAIT i didnt see it yet, she was going home to watch it when i called. She thinks bc i called and said omg and the way i sounded that matt got kicked off lol.

I agree; Matt will not win Idol or even get to the top three so I don't think he should have gotton the save. I thought the point of the save was to save a front runner, such as what happened when Daughtry got the boot. I would have thought they were saving it for Allison, Danny, or Adam.

I know that is the part that S*CKS. Every show does this, whenever they save someone and nobody goes home they just kick off 2 ppl the following week so doesn't really help all that much. It will probably be the same 3 in the bottom next week, and Matt might just be one of the 2 with least amount of votes. They should've thought about that first.

The 2 people going home next week thing doesn't make any sense to me. Why even have the save then? It's most likely going to be the same 2 people at the bottom next week, and they will both go anyway. I don't see the point!

That being said, I am glad that Matt was saved so we can hear at least one more song from him!

yeah the save would be good for someone that was a shock they were in the bottom and were getting kicked off. Lets say Adam was in the bottom 3, it never happened and if they save him then likely it wont happen again. The point of this save was bc the past seasons you had few ppl like Hudson, Dolittle, doughtry that were great and were so good that some ppl felt they didn't have to vote bc they were safe but too many ppl thought that and by some rare chance they had the least amount of votes. I just really hope now that Adam or Alison don't get in the bottom 3, they are the two that would deserve a save JMO.

Next week is Disco, and bc of that Matt might be in the bottom again. I can't picture him singing disco and whenever he tries to sing anything other than some soulful song it never works out.

I was glad they saved Matt also. Even though I'm not too confident that he'll WIN, I still feel like he deserves to go further in this competition. He really has a great voice and I guess people just aren't recognizing it. I feel like he might be a little too forgettable. Not sure what he can do to change that though. But I LOVED his performance this week. Made my heart melt. lol. (maybe i just like the song).

I didn't realize though that they only had the save for 2 more weeks. What is that??? I thought the whole point was that they had it until the end.

But yeah - 2 people going home next week? That's gonna be a tough one (esp since it's DISCO! lol). I hope Matt doesn't go home tho, otherwise saving him was just a waste. My vote would be Anoop & Lil to go next. We'll see what happens.
