They get a lil surprised at my response but what the 'H E Double Hockey Sticks' ELSE am I supposed to say to that?

People are already telling me I will have fertility problems because I am 36 - NICE right? Gee, my mom had 2 pregnancies after 37. I am not worried, why are they?

SICK to death of it! My standard answer is that it's the same as engaged life, which was pretty similar to dating life (we lived together for 5 years). When they ask me what's changed.....I simply answer 'my signature and business cards'.
So when does this question stop getting asked??

I'm tired of it too.. it never ends.
It'll be that question and 'When are you having kids?' for now.
And when you have a kid, the next question will be 'When are you having the next one?' Then it'll never end.

It is just the norm, I guess!!! Then it is followed by 'So, when will you get pregnant'
I take it in stride! It gets annoying, but there is nothing you can do!

Funny, I was asked that question not five minutes ago and gave my standard answer, 'The same as non-married life, it's great!'. I don't mind it, they're just being nice and I can't fault them for that.
The kid question I haven't gotten that much lately which is good. I think I've pretty much had the 'we're evil because we're not having kids' conversation with just about everyone I know anyway.

I get this all the time and it really irks me, but I really try to take in stride.
If I am having a good day, I'll say, 'Oh it's wonderful'...etc.
I try to chalk it up to the fact that Frank and I never lived together, never saw eachother, never lived in the same state so people are really wondering...'after all this, do they really like each other?'

Since we bought the house no one asked how married life is , but how's the house which is a bit easier to answer LOL
I have gotten the baby question once so far but Im sure as soon as we are settled we will get that more.

but it ranks right up there with 'how was the flight?'
um, the plane landed, we didn't crash and die a firey/fiery ( ) death, so i guess it went ok...i mean, what am i supposed to say to that...especially since i never fly for more than 2 hours at a time!

I usually answer with a shrug and say 'it's good'. Nothing more, nothing less. What do they think, I'm going to break into a sonnet professing all of my love for DH and our beautiful life together??
Married life is the same as engaged life except now I have a new last name.

We are both sick of this one, and it's only been a month! But we just smile and nod, and say 'Well I guess it's ok, since we haven't killed eachother yet!'
They always are waiting for some long story, like they want to hear about tension between us.. thanks people, but serisously we're doing just fine.

It's such a vague question too, they never can ask about the specifics, but have to ask on the overall, so it always is a stumper. I too lived with my DH for a year before we got married, so often it's hard to think of much that has changed other than my name and taxes...
