if you could do it all over again...

would you pick the same dress.

i loved my dress, but i have been shopping with my maid of honor for her wed dress and there are soo many nice ones out there, i find myself second guessing- even though its tooo late now.

Any one else ever feel this way?

I wish I could have had 5 wedding gowns. I loved shopping for my dress and wearing it. That is why being a Princess must be so great. You get to wear beautiful gowns all the time. I don't regret the gown I choice at all. But who knows if I was shopping today if I would not see something else I loved.

Im of the same mind as Michele. There are just sooo many amazing gowns out there I would have loved to change every hour. But that being said, I loved my dress then and I love my dress now.

maybe I would have picked something different. Mine was beautiful but I may have chosen something differnt if we had more money to spend on it.

um, yes, I changed my mind about 10 times with the gown! I was married last Oct, and still have second thoughts about my gown. Just a few wks ago, I posted another gorgeous dress on this site and asked why I couldn't have found that one before the big day! LOL

My rationale is that there are SO many gorgeous gowns, that it's close to impossible to just find and LOVE one. I had to narrow down my selection from a few that I really loved for different reasosn. Also, many gowns will look differently on different figures, so you can't really tell anything without trying them all on!

My problem when looking for a dress was that I couldn't decide what I wanted my 'look' to be. There were about 4 or 5 dresse that were THE ONE but they were totally different from one another and each one gave me a completely different image.
I loved my final choice because it was the type of dress that I could never wear again - strapless ballgown with tulle skirt. Where could I ever wear a dress like that again?

That said, I could just as easily have chosen one of the others that I loved and been equally happy.

I loved my dress and really fell in love with it again when I opened it again before I sent it to Wedclean, I think it is timeless and very plain...and ME...BUT a few weeks before the weddig I saw some gowns on TV that were plain but had a bit of sparkle and I thought I should have had that...but I think the moment you see your dress is that moment alone and you can't explain it...but I think there could have been 5 other dresses I would have loved just as much if I had kept looking and didn't go with my first dress I tried on!

I would definitely pick the same dress again. I love my dress and wish I could wear it again! It took me so long to find the dress I loved and when I say stuff like this it makes me feel great that I picked the one I did. Every now and then I think, should I have gotten an aline/poofy/traditional dress..but I quickly say no and remember I loved my gown. Also, I think everytime I talk to my mom still .. she reminds me how much she loves my dress...makes me feel good.

A year before the wedding I liked so many gowns and could not make a choice so i ordered the one that my friends and family loved. Three months before my wedding I admitted to my feelings mom that i chose it because everyone else loved it, she canceled it and we began a frantic search for the perfect gown. I bought one that was twice the price of my original choice! Looking at the picrures now, that money was soooo worth it. The dress that I wore on my wedding day was so amazing and special and perfect. Thank GOD for my mom

I loved my dress and still love it! It's pretty different and my mom didn't like it at first - but I still chose it!
I've seen so many beautiful gowns since then and have wondered what that dress would have been like, but then remember how I felt in my dress!
I hope that I can wear it again on my 25th wedding anniversary!

I loved mine, but would probably get something different if I did it over again.
