Re: If you didn't have a rehearsal dinner....

During the day was spent with DH taking care of a few last minute things like getting him checked into the hotel for the weekend, etc. That evening my sister had a bbq for everyone that was in town for the wedding.

Re: If you didn't have a rehearsal dinner....

I had my RD the week before so I was free the night before.

I had my bridesmaids come over and we had a relaxing evening.

Re: If you didn't have a rehearsal dinner....

I had my rehearsal dinner the week before as well (due to church scheduling). The night before I spent fighting with DH over what his sister pulled. But of course DH doesn't care and always let's his family come first so I am upset and doesn't care that I am crying which makes it worse. I don't recommend this. I spent the whole night icing my eyes and hoping to reduce swelling. Can you tell I am very upset still over this???? But before this I also got locked out of my apartment building for about 2.5 hours in the cold wearing flip flops (just came from pedicure and manicure). Don't recommend this either! This is just two of my last night stories! It was bad!

But the original plan was DH was leaving the apartment at 7pm and my cousin (a BM) was coming over to spend the night with me and we would catch up - she is younger and away at college so we don't catch up often.

Re: If you didn't have a rehearsal dinner....

I had a very low key rehearsal dinner (two nights before at the church we ordered pizza lol!)

Anyway I spent the night before ALONE! I thought I would be a nervous wreck and I lived in a small apartment (not enough sleepover room) so I thought I would spend the evening alone and have some quiet time before the big day. My original plan was to take a long hot bath, rent a good chick flick, read a book and unwind. Well that got ruined because my father's tuxedo was as big as MC Hammer's clothes and I got into a phone fight with my soon to be husband so I ended up going all the way to Brooklyn & back to Long Island at midnight. Long story short I didn't get to bed until 3am and my hair lady showed up at 5am!

Re: If you didn't have a rehearsal dinner....

We didn't have a rehearsal dinner and we basically finished last minute things and then FH went off to the hotel with friends about 6:00, and some the the girls in BP came to me and we had dinner and just hung out together, it was quiet and nice!

Re: If you didn't have a rehearsal dinner....

I had my rehearsal dinner the week before my wedding. The day before, I went to get a massage, manicure & pedicure. My parents had a few people over (out of town guests) but soon after, I went upstairs to my room, watched a movie and went to sleep.

Re: If you didn't have a rehearsal dinner....

I had my RD the week before -
The day before I spent at the spa - massage, facial (7-layer one - not one that would irritate your skin), seaweed wrap, manicure, and pedicure. Some of my BM's came for either part or all of the day. I spent that evening at my apartment with a BM that was staying with me and two other BMs who came over to visit for a little bit.
