and no im not pregnant..

i would be #2. i def. would want it to happen a year from now. we need to be financially secure first!

Completely surprised because I am on the pill. Freaked out because DH does not want children.
Oh Lord, I'd be 42 when the child was born.

same here - a baby is a blessing, but i would prefer that it not happen this year

i'm not gonna lie--i chose # 3 -- i'd freaking sh*t kittens.....just utterly shocked and surprised.


the subject of kids scares the bejesus out of me sometimes. i don't like change---and the idea of creating a new life is exciting but more scary than anything to me. when its time for us to start TTC--i know that i am going to be the one with cold feet

number 2 - but only because i'm currently taking paxil. Once i get off of it - SUPER HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here too. DH would be jumping up and down- but I'd like to wait a little while longer before TTC.

I chose #3 also, I would FREAK out... I am sure I would get over it at some point and just be happy about it, but I am not sure I even want to have children, so it would definitely be a shock!

I selected #1 HOWEVER...

Dh and I are going through some stuff right now and having a baby/getting pregnant right now is not ideal. But I am having serious baby fever. It's crazy but I stalk the TTC, Pegnancy and Parenting boards on LIF but do not post and I scan babies r us and bbb to see what I would register for. DH wants a baby too but knows this is not a great time. So I would definitely be jumping up and down but also a little scared (because of the 'stuff') and schocked because I am on the pill. Final answer is jumping up and down excited because I cannot wait to have a baby.

#3. I already have my hands full with a 1 year old monster. I don't think I could deal with another one right now. Not to mention the idea of paying for day care for a 2nd kid.

I chose #3 because my ds is only 3 months old and I was told I need to wait at least 6 months between pregnancies for health reasons. But I miss being pregnant and will jump up and down after the 6 month mark

REALLY? I am still so scarred from giving birth. I thought it was awful. I haven't recovered from pregnancy & birth (emotionally)

I chose #2. I am on the pill and have no intention of getting pregnant any time soon. I know I want to have kids but I want to enjoy some time alone with DH first. But if it were to happen, then that must be what God planned for me and I'd be ok with it.

You and me both. I would start with #3 then move to #2 after I calmed down enough to remind myself its not the end of the world and we could swing it. It would be hard but we'd manage.

But intiially..I would definetly be freaking out because now is just nott a good time for little feet to be walking up one side of my life and down the other.

I chose number one however, DH wants to wait a little longer before we start trying. Right now we arent 100% financially ready.

id be soooooo excited (yes nervous!!! but excited). ideally it would be further down the road bc we really need time to straighten out our finances and i need to finish my doctoral program! so i chose 2
