i would be #2. i def. would want it to happen a year from now. we need to be financially secure first!

We're not TTC yet because we're not ready, but we both have baby fever pretty bad so I'd go with #2.

the subject of kids scares the bejesus out of me sometimes. i don't like change---and the idea of creating a new life is exciting but more scary than anything to me. when its time for us to start TTC--i know that i am going to be the one with cold feet

You and me both. I would start with #3 then move to #2 after I calmed down enough to remind myself its not the end of the world and we could swing it. It would be hard but we'd manage.

But intiially..I would definetly be freaking out because now is just nott a good time for little feet to be walking up one side of my life and down the other.

I'm with this one.....I would be scared out of my mind for a while, but eventually I would get used to the idea....

Just please........not yet

but then id freak cause it was really happening and just worried that ill raise a moron

#2......DH would fall under #1, he'd be thrilled! me on the otherhand, I'd rather it be 6-9 months from now. maybe longer, we'll see. I need to feel like our house is more in order before we try to get prego.

I responded #2 because although DH and I want children, we want to enjoy being newlyweds first. I'm trying out a new career change so I want to give it some time and we want to travel and do things just for us...however, DH did change his mind and decided that he wanted to move the 5 year baby plan to like 2-3 year baby plan which totally freaked me out because I was liking the 5 year plan...LOL

I agree. DH is at this stage right now where he isnt sure if he even wants children. I have considered this but much less seriously.

I think I would be devastated at first like ugly cry, curled up in a ball, questioning God kind of devastated

but then slowly i think we would both break out of it ( really what choice do we have ) and be excited but still VERY nervous and disappointed.

If it happened right now, the timing would be terrible, and I would be very concerned of potential problems for the child b/c of everything I am going through --- the meds that I have been taking, the radiation i have been exposed to for tests, and the surgery that i need to have in a couple of weeks.

If it happened in a month or two from now, I would be thrilled and nervous all at the same time ... even though we are not really ready for it yet.

i responded #3. we both def want kids one day, just not anytime soon. we have other things that we want to get done before we even think about being parents. we def need at least a year or two.

#3 most definitely---I love the idea of being a mom and but i am NOT ready @ all...maybe in like 3 years.

my mom on the other hand is dying for us to have a baby (no matter how many times we've told her not yet!!!!) DH, my mom and I were at cvs saturday and she passed by the condom aisle...she said do you guys need these? i said NO...then she said she'd buy them for us but she'd poke holes in them first.......

Yeah thats how I would feel. But I'm kinda glad you brought this up, because if you had ask this say 2 months ago I would have been freaked out and worried. So I guess I'm happy for that.
