If you got your proofs on cd from your photographer...

How much did it cost? Also what was the quality of the proofs (were they print quality, or just for viewing)?

I posted this on BHB, but I wanted to know from brides that already got their proofs back. My photographer wants close to $1000 for a cd of print quality pictures, and it would only be the pictures from the album, not ALL the proofs. Isn't that expensive for not all that much?

Hey, I replied to you on BHB, but just want to emphasize again that $1000 is ridiculous. Ours was already included with the package, and it was all 800 of the proofs and all with high resolution that we can blow up and print out, not just for viewing.

Our photogpraghy was all digital, so we received all the proofs on cd & they wer eall also printed out. It was included in the cost of photography, so we woudl have gotten that even if we didn't get albums & or reprints.

If your photogprahy is film, not digital, it is an extra step to make a cd, so I can see why they would charge more. I don't know the going rate for that.

We got our proofs on CD-ROM at no extra charge. It was part of our photo package with our photographer. The quality of the proofs are just like the picture themselves.
