Give them away to chairty. More specificially, the Naturalizer company who is teaming up with Dress for Success.
I just got an email about an event they are having May 3-11. What you do is bring in your gently used work shoes that you want to get rid of and donate them to any Naturalizer store. They will give you a coupon for 20% off anything in their stores; shoes, accessories, handbags, etc,.
I Totally love Naturalizer for comfort shoes and wanted to buy a cute new pair of wedge sandals so I am going to trade in ironically, two older pairs of Naturalizer shoes that dont fit me very well and as a result are nearly brand new.
They work with a charity that provides career approproate attire to economically disadvantaged women. Its called DressforSuccess.
I thought I would share because I like these types of charities because I feel they really give people a hand up not a handout. They're all about giving you the tools you need to succeed and then the rest is up to the person.
Hey, at least you get a coupon out of it and we know how much we NW looooove coupons

Anytime i have like 3 paiirs I think. a neighbor of ours actually supposedly got her interview suit through this organization when she was trying to find a job and she got it and now is doing very well.
First impressions are soooo important.

I've got a couple of pairs that I can't wear anymore because of darn arthritis in my foot, and they are practically new. Jenn, are there any Naturalizer stores in the city ?
eta : Never mind. Found it at Lex and 57th street, and also in Huntington at the Walt Whitman Mall.
