The average gift was about $125 per person or $250 a couple. But that takes into account people who gave nothing and one or two people who gave a really generous gift.

So if you take those people out, I would say the average was more like $175 per couple.

We actually received a lot more money than we had planned.

Why don't you add a poll, so people can say how much without saying who they are?
I am curious too, but do not need to know who got how much.
