I've crossed over to the dark side! The wedding and HM are done . I can't believe I had to come back to work on such a gross rainy day.
Now onto the fun of moving into the house.....
How is everyone?

Re: I'm a NW now
It was amazing! Was a little hectic early in the morning due to some vendor lateness, but once we got to the ceremony not a thing went wrong and it was smooth sailing, couldn't have asked for anything better except better weather lol.

Welcome to the NW board. How is settling into the house going? How are you finding good old East Islip. If you need any advice (where to go for things) or anything let me know.

Re: I'm a NW now
I heard the weather here wasn't great. It poured on my wedding day too and to tell you the truth - I didn't even really notice after the initial 'oh no - it's raining moment.'
I can't wait to be officially in E Islip. Right now we're in 2 places. My apt in Babylon and the house.
I actually do havea question - we were there last night unpacking stuff and DH had a sushi or chinese food craving.... do you have a recommendation for me?
Real moving day is Monday (yay). I can't wait to be fully in the house (even if is a mess!)

For your quick Chinese food I like the place over near Angels Bridal and Boston Market. There is one in Walbaums shopping center but I don't think its as good. I don't really eat sushi but I heard Mitsui in Bay Shore is good. There is also Tai Show in Oakdale thats pretty good, I have never eaten there, but I have heard really good things.
Also if your looking for prepared food while you unpack (usually you have to cook it, though they do have cooked prepared dinners too) try Storks. Its in the Martino's shopping plaza between the Fire Dept and 7-11. Its open until 6 on weekdays, not sure about weekends. They have roasted chickens and all kinds of meals. They have a great stuffed pork chop you just throw in the oven and all kinds of other good things. It can be expensive so look for specials in the penny saver or on their window.

thanks so much! We'll have to get together once we're settled in. By the way, congrats on Candy - she's adorable.
