I'm back from the Dr.

So I'm back with news I was totally not expecting. The Dr. said I have a partially collapsed lung he doesn't know why. He also saw something he was very concerned about. He said the bones in and around my lungs were calcified (sp?) which he usually sees in women in their 80's. So now I have to go for a ton more tests. He also wants me to see a cardiologist to just make sure everything is ok since my dad's side has so much heart disease (his dad died in front of him at 33, and his cousin at 22 was found dead in her bed on her wedding day)

I thought I was freakin nervous before

Aww sprry to hear Heather. Now that they found the problem they can work on fixing it. Good thing you went to the doctor.

Don't look anything up it will scare you further. if the doctor was concerned they would have you in a hospital right now. Looking stuff up will only make you jump to conclusions and get worked up over problems you don't even have.

I was thinking to look this up on the internet, but I'm scared of what it will tell me, everytime I do that I regret it hahaha

Wow - I haven't been on in awhile and I'm so sorry you're going through this!! I hope it's something they can fix and you can feel better soon. In the meantime try to think positive thoughts and stay off the internet (except LIW of course) because it's only going to scare you more!!! We are all thinking of you

thanks girls it really means alot. I don't know why I just can't stop worrying though. i never heard of bones doing this. I don't know if I will be able to survive not looking it up.

I wish I knew!! And the more I think about this, I have it in my Jaw too! I was at the dentist a few weeks ago, since I've been having pain in my jaw where I had a root canel 2 years ago. She took another xray and compared it to one 2 years ago, and she noticed I'm losing part of my jaw.. needless to say shes baffled and suggested i see a specialist, which I have the xrays to do so, but i just changed dental insurance so I have to find one. This is so crazy!!!
