I'm convinced Girl Scout cookies are the devil!!!!!!

either that or my local gym is paying someone off to give me cookies so I finally end up getting that gym membership I'm sitting here just eating away at my thin mints, not a care in the world since I don't have work tomorrow......which is a very good thing since me thinks me not fit into workie pants after eating a wholllllllle box of cookies

anyone else like me and buy like 5 boxes of cookies and then when they finally arrive you're like W T F was I thinking???

DH came home from work with like 6 boxes of cookies. I don't know why, but Girl Scout cookies don't do anything for me ... I am IMMUNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

girl you are probably the very first person I've heard this from, we've been devouring them like ANIMALS at work I think someone lost a finger the other day trying to get their hands on a samoa.....more power to ya girl!! they shouldn't be calling them 'thin' mints though when all they're doing is giving me a FAT arse! how deceptive those girl scouts are

I guess we never had them in the house growing up ... I don't know why. I wasn't a Girl Scout, and none of my close friends were either. And my parents worked long hours, so they weren't home if anyone came around trying to sell them.

MIL bought us some last year, they are STILL sitting in a cabinet, un-opened.

Which is why its even stranger that DH came home with so many boxes of them!!

I think he felt bad and was trying to help a co-workers daughter ... so that was really sweet of him. But now I don't know what we'll do with them! You can come pick them up in Oceanside if you want!

DH came home with like 6 boxes a couple of weeks ago and I was like why so many you know we are trying to get back on track. He just laughed and said told me he couldn't resist so he bought from a co worker.

But they are soooo good. Now that they are gone so we have to work them off. . I noticed they sell at the wrong time of year. Why couldn't it be towards the end. when i am not trying to lose the holiday poundage.

OMG who was I talking to about this the other day? LMAO the GS WAIT for us in our supermarket at the entrance so when you come in you have to walk parallel past them and when you come OUt of the store, you are facing them. And they yell at you in tandem; 'Please support us and(whatever cause) and you feel like SUCH a heel if you walk by. When its teenagers I can ignore them because they're not so cute lol but last week they pulled out the DAISY scouts (real little ones) and the Brownies....

I mean SHEESH! How can you say no when a 6 yr old is jingling a cup at you in a cute uniform?

Needles too say i now have 10boxes of cookies in my cabinet, because between them and the ones that come door to door, I am an easy target. SUCKER must have been tattoed across my forehead while i was too busy distracted by the 'MORON' across my @ss.

Exactly, I had the trefols last night and the peanut butter ones the night before. This diet is not working out!

I love these ookies, but I hate these cookies!

i got it worse.. my 7 yr old IS a girl scout.. and she didn't sell cookies based on how many cookies she could sell.. she picked a prize and sold cookies in order to get that prize..

so I being super mom or super stupid, have over 15 boxes of girl scout cookies as we speak in my living room. her dad however was hit even harder.. he brought 32 boxes.. so if anyone feels they are in need of more cookies.. please fm me.. i will sell them at a discount.. just to get them out of my living room..

I try not to eat them, but we got a ton of them because DH's little sister & cousin are in the girl scouts, so we buy a bunch of boxes from both of them. ThenDH's step-mother, who is his sister's troop leader, had a bunch of extra boxes she was trying to sell when she gave us ours. I was like, 'Please, NO! We have enough! Keep them away!' It's too tempting to buy them, especially when you know it will help the troop out. And don't forget the other fundraiser they have where they sell all the chocolate and nuts!
