When I think of ham, I think of comfort food side dishes. Au Gratin Potatoes would be yummy...String bean casserole..stuff like that.

What about making your own corn bread??

ohhh yeah, red potatoes are good too!!! With Rosemary...mmmmmm

I don't know if you would serve this as a side dish, or as an appetizer. I once made a recipe I saw on Paula Deen. She wrapped puff pastry around asparagus and then sprinkled with parmesan cheese. It was sooo yummy and so simple. I don't know if you would eat that as a side though :-/

FOUND IT!!!!!!!! WOOOOHOOOO! Go light on the mustard otherwise the mustard will be overkill- may also add cheese & some sauteed onions

INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)
3 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
3/4 cup reduced fat sour cream
1/2 cup nonfat milk
2 tablespoons honey mustard
garlic salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS
Place the cubed potatoes in a pot with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil, and cook 15 minutes, or until tender.
Drain potatoes and transfer to a bowl. Mash with a potato masher, and gradually mix in the sour cream, nonfat milk, and hone mustard. Season with garlic salt and pepper.
