I'm off

I'm off

to see Linkin Park at MSG with DH .
It was one of his Xmas gifts.

Looking for an Italian restaurant near MSG to have dinner after the concert. I know that area is tough...but we don't mind taking a taxi. We prefer good food to a romantic atmosphere.

Thanks

LINKIN PARK WAS FANTASTIC ! I was worried since I didn't think I knew this band music. I was surprised to find out that I knew (and liked) more than 1/2 of their songs. It was an amazing concert! My DH rocked out and was thrilled with our floor seats.

The opening acts were Chiodos
() & Coheed and Cambria ( <----this is us yawning). A special musical artist joined the group for their second encore performance. (check out my pics to see who-4th one ).

I was also impressed to learn about all the charity work L.P is involved in. If you ever have the chance to see them don't think twice about getting tickets!!!!!

Linkin Park's charity Music For Relief has teamed up with Unite The United to launch an auction on website eBay.com to raise funds for the victims of the recent California wildfires. Linkin Park have already pledged $50,000, to funds for firefighters and fire victims respectively.

Music for Relief is auctioning VIP ticket packages for the upcoming Linkin Park 2008 U.S. Winter Tour with all proceeds going to MFR to help rebuild the Gulf Coast.

Linkin Park has helped raise money to benefit victims of Hurricane Charley in 2004 and Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

They also helped relief efforts for the 2004 Tsunami victims by staging several charity concerts, and setting up an additional fund called Music for Relief.

WOO HOO FOR L.K.

I don't really know the Italian restaurants in the area.

MSG...that's by the KOREAN restaurant area (by the 34th street mall/Macys).

My suggestion: Go, be brave & get Korean BBQ. You pick a meat & the grill it in front of you on your table. You get lots of appetizers that come with your meal. It's a LOT of fun & they are friendly to non-Koreans. It'll be an adventure! I don't know what the place I usually go to is called, but it has a big, artificial waterfall & has a musician on top of the rocks during the weekend. Their food is great!

We ended up going to Ruby Tuesday because of how late we got out of the concert.

Korean BBQ sounds interesting, but I don't eat any meat but I do eat fish. Do you know if the restaurant has a website where I could take a look at the menu?
