I'm so upset
It is starting to seem like I am never going to see my wedding photos. I can't believe this. I've come to terms with the fact that I have paid for some things that I am not going to get, but this I cannot handle. My proofs are sitting in a lab finished, but I can't have them until some lawyer, who doesn't seem to care less, finally allows them to be released. Seeing as we were promised the release 3 weeks ago, I'm not holding my breath anymore. I call the laywer everyday. My father calls the layer everyday. We both leave messages. We must have left nearly 50 messages combined in the last 3 weeks. Guess what? Nobody ever calls back. We call the lab every few days only to hear the same thing everytime 'The release will be here any day.' We just have no idea anymore when & even if I'm going to get those proofs
We honestly busted our a$$es to pay for the wedding. We paid for every dime by ourselves & I worked so hard planning, like all brides do. It's just so unfair that I can't have the pictures, the memories, of that day. I'm sitting here trying to make thank yous out of non-pro pics. Fortunately, a friend of my parents followed the photographer around when we did our formal shots & he took pictures of every pose. He blew some up for us & put together an album that his daughters gave us at the reception. I'm so thankful to have those beautiful pics, but it's not the same. There are so many moments from that day that I know the photographer captured that I don't have any pics of. I know the important thing is that I am married & that we had a wonderful day.
I am so sorry to vent on here, but I'm sure you ladies can understand that I feel totally and completely heartbroken.
