I'm soooo nervous!! UPDATE!

DH just called from training and he mentionned that his platoon is all going out to a bar tonight and they told him to bring his wife and whoever else. So, of course I want to go because I definately want to meet everyone he's training with and become friendly with them. BUT I'm sooooo nervous. I dont know what to wear (since I dont know the bar, I dont know the dress AND because GA isnt NY and I dont know how people dress to go to bars down here) and I'm nervous about meeting everyone. This is our first real situation where its all military and I definately want to make a good impression. I've never been like this -- I'm normally such an outgoing person. Its a mix of girls and guys....but the girls are all in the army so I cant even begin to relate to them. And the guys....well...guys are guys.

Wish me luck tonight because I'm going to need a lot of it (and a lot of beer)!

UPDATE: Well....looks liek I dont need to worry....DH called and he got in some trouble today and so we wont be going. This week he was supposed to be staying on post per his orders, but the other night he came home anyway and slept here with me. Well, they found out and he got in BIG trouble with his commander. They restricted him to post this weekend and gave him duty all tonight (until 2:00am) and all day tomorrow. He isnt allowed off-post until Monday night. SOOOOO that means I'm all alone ALL weekend long and we wont be going anywhere I'm so dissapointed....I was so looking forward to meeting everyone and hanging out with DH Sunday to watch the Giants game.
