Joanna, I did the same thing a few years ago although a number of months before the wedding. I felt relieved although I lost lots of deposits. Got married this past May and am so glad I made that decision years ago because now I know what a great guy is and how a relationship should be. Perhaps a blessing in disguise for you as it was with me.
