in need of some prayers...

DH has been been not feeling great for about a month, and last week i finally got him to go see a doctor. they did a chest xray and we just found out yesterday that he has some markings on his lung that they want to better exam, possibily bi-opsy and to go and see a pulmonolgist.

of course both of us are thinking the worst right now and we are just being hopeful that it is nothing...so please girls i know all of your prayers are helpful to everyone that need them, so share some this way!

Don't panic. MANY people have 'spots' on their lung from past infections liks bronchitis and pneumonia.

I know the waiting is unpleasant, but try not to panic until there is something concrete to worry about.

they diagnosed him w/ pneumonia, only to call and say its not pneumonia ....and want to do further testing...

Ooohh nooo!! the important thing is that he got to the doctor, and whatever it may be, serious or not, it will get taken care of asap!!!

dont panic until you hear the results!!!

huggss and a ton of prayers headed your way!!

im not in panic mode yet, but i will be after the tests are done and we are waiting for results!

OK, so he'll do further testing. Has he had bronchitis/pneumonia in past? It could just be scarring from that.

You guys are young and the body is a resilient machine. Don't think the worst until someone tells you the worst!

but yeah DH smoked for like 10 years, and he has been smoke free for about 2 now...but i did smoke for those 2 years, so he was acceptable to 2nd hand smoke...

and he had pnemonia once like 3 years ago....

im makin the appointments today, since working at st. charles i know the best doctors lol

Hopefully they can get him in for the tests ASAP and get those results back ASAP too!!

You have to definitely hope & pray for the best!
It's a good thing you got him to go to the doctor...why men are so stubborn when it comes to the doctor - I'll never know!

Sending lots of prayers to you and DH. Hopefully, like a PP said, the marks will turn out to be nothing worse than scar tissue from a prior infection.

as impossible as it sounds, everyone's right - try hard not to panic or think the worst or worry until you know for sure what's what. i'm so so sorry and i will keep you guys in my prayers and positive thoughts! i'm sure he'll be fine

appointments are booked. first one is 3/11, and then 3/15 for results...

now the waiting begins
