Inlaws remembering your Anniversary

No one from my inlaws said Happy Anniversary to me.... I thought my MIL would call but she didnt, she calls me for every other stupid sh*t....I guess its normal because she didnt even say Happy Birthday to me....and the other day I saw her, and she asked me Can you take me to the mall, I was like sure! Need anything specific? shes like yeaH i want to buy a Coach bag for my daughters birthday.... My SIL's birthday is in SEPTEMBER!!!!!!! ***...u dont ever remember my birthday or occassions and you want me to take you to get other people presents...i love the nerve of some people...

Anyways, I had a great anniversary.... BBQ + went to go see Fireworkds + spent time with my parents....and now its time for some 'alone' time

But anyawys is anyone elses inlaws inconsiderate like that ?!

My ILs don't call anyone for anything...they are so boring. If they see us on a specific holiday or birthday then they will say something but they would never go out of their way or make a phone call.

DH's birthday came and went and my MIL didn't tell him happy birthday until 2 weeks later.

Honeslty i have to say that is just terrible! I mean really how do you forget an Anniversary on JULY 4TH!!!!!???? That just is soooooo not nice & very rude & selfish of them. Im so sorry & im happy you had a very happy Anniversary!


Im very lucky i have the best in-laws ever!

DH and I didn't hit our 1st Anniversary yet so I won't know til next month.

But on a side note, DH's family is very different than mine. My parents gave us greeting cards for all of our first holidays together 'To Daughter and Son-in-Law', etc. I just received my first daughter-in-law card from MIL for my birthday 2 weeks ago. FIL and his wife sent a card but it was a generic birthday card to anyone.

Yep. MIL never does anything for anyone, not even her kids. She has no problem getting herself a big screen TV or a new car, but can't be bothered to get her kids birthday presents or even send us a card for our anniversary. Whatever.

my inlaws are the opposite, its funny. they get us something every month (little things, but its cute).

thats pretty crappy...no matter what if u r on speaking terms there is no excuse for that!!!!
