insert foot in mouth

So last night DH's 24 year old cousin was telling us about his gym routine and it was pretty impressive but the funny part was at the end he said 'oh but you guys dont have to worry about that - i am single so i actually have to look good.'



DH and I limped our obviously married quasimodo behinds to a dark corner after THAT comment.

wow! I hate when I say something really stupid like that....especially if I didn't mean it to sound offensive. The foot in mouth feeling BITES

LMAO we have gotten that too....I geuss being married is a free pass to slobville.

My DH used to joke around when we first got engaged...he would tell people it was either that or he'd have to go back to the gym and get a whole new wardrobe.

I hate that!!! I have people ask me, 'So you gonna let yourself go now that youre married' I always answer, 'Um hell no, I go to the gym 3 times a week and eat right. Gotta keep DH on his toes so he knows if he ever screws up, I can still get any guy I want'
