INSTRCTIONS ON HOW TO POST PICTURES

I DON'T KNOW IF ANYONE HERE NEEDS THIS ANYMORE, WE ALL SEEM TO BE PROS, BUT I FIGURED I MIGHT AS WELL PUT IT HERE TOO

The best way that I have seen with very little hassle is to

1) Upload your pix to a site like Shutterfly

Shutterfly is a free site, all you have to do it create an account there

Once your pix are there you will not have to worry about re-sizing

2) Once you have uploaded your pix to shutterfly, you will have to copy the properties of the enlargened pix not the thumbnail view. You will have to right mouse click on the pix to get and copy the properties. You will copy the line that has the URL. (IT WILL LOOK LIKE THIS: ADDRESS URL:http://www.flowerden.com/Album/RoseandBerries.jpg

3)Click Select all, then once the URL address is higlighted, click copy

4) Start your thread here or go to the thread that you want to post the pix in

5) Click on the 'INSERT WEB IMAGE' this is located below all the EMOTICONS. You will get a grey pop up box this is where you want to paste the properties that you have just copied from your uploaded shutterlfy pix

If you are at a website and you see a pix that you would like to post here, do the same thing, right mouse click on the pix, copy the properties, reply to the post or if it is a new post, clich on the 'INSERT WEB IMAGE' tab and paste your copied URL in the grey pop up box.

YOU CAN POST MORE THAN ONE PIX WITHIN A POST, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS FOLLOW THE SAME STEPS, BY JUST PRESSING ENTER BETWEEN EACH
POST.

When you copy the properties of any pix, remember to always do 'SELECT ALL' b/c sometiems there are a lot more of the properties that you cannot see.

HAPPY POSTING

HOW TO POST PIX FROM YOUR HARD DRIVE

I forgot to add how to post a pix from your hard drive. Since LIW has a size limitation on what you can upload, if you are lucky and you have a pix that is 50K or less, here are the instx on how to post one from your hard drive

Below your reply box that you are typing in, there ia an 'ATTACH IMAGE ________________ BROWSE

In that empty space you want to type the drive that you have the pix on ex c:\ then hit browse, you will see all your folders on your 'c' drive or whatever drive you typed in that you have your pix saved on.

2) Select the folder that the pix is in, then click on the pix then click OPEN.

Don't forget to click the post reply button TADA, your pix will be attached to your post. If it is too large the system will tell you.
