It's for a part time PR/Exec asst position at a dr's office in Westbury. If I get it and take it, I'll most likely be OFF unemployment, so I hope and pray it's off the books (which I am almost sure it won't be) ... I may have to get another part time job to make up the difference of what I was making at my last job, or to at least get close. I am thinking about restaurants and putting some ads on craigslist to be a dog sitter or freelance pr person for small businesses.
But I'm not nervous - I guess because it's small scale ... I mean, pr for a dr's office will be simple stuff, community devt stuff I like (not selling a product, like the consumer Pr i did a while ago which I did not like because I am not a seller) ... and it's not a big scary corporate office, I'm meeting with the doc.
But please think of me, give me any pointers you have. I am hoping it's a 30 hr a week job with a good salary and benefits!!!!
Question - should I wear a suit??? It's a doctor's office - would I be overdressed? Should I just wear pants and a nice sweater / top?
