invisalign???

does anyone have any information on invisalign? I made an appt for a consultation because I hate my front teeth

I was just wondering if anyone had it, how their results were and possibly pricing if you don't mind sharing

A friend of mine had Invisalign. Honestly, it was gross to look at. It's clear but you see like spit bubbles and stuff in the 'trays/braces'. It grossed me out....

And they did NOTHING for his teeth. He gave up on them.

This was in 2003 so I'm sure they've improved. That's all I know though. I just remember talking to him and seeing little spit bubbles. It was NASTY!

i went to my orthodontist about a year ago for this jess...he told me anywhere between $2-5000 because I wanted both top and bottom. but you can finance it etc.

i would say go for the consultation see what they say...you might like it and the price might be good for you. i know my ortho was a little pricey.

yeah I only want the top if it is around 2500 I can afford it. more then that prob not, I have to see

yeah 2500 wouldnt be bad...hopefully the prices didnt go up to much. um....as for how long it takes...not too sure i know you have to go in for a molding then go back to get them fitted and then how long you wear them for depends i am guessing. i think my doctor told me about 6 months

My cousin did this and it worked very well. Took a about a year... sorry I don't know what the cost was but I believe she financed it.

I heard it takes a little longer than regular braces. I'm not 100% since I've never had to worry about braces

I guess that is another option I could ask them about, I'd hate to get braces again though

my best friend had them- she used to take out her trays when she ate and she would brush her teeth after eating- I never saw anything gross with hers- most of the time, I didnt notice she was wearing them. She went through a couple of sets of trays to get her teeth straight- and I think I remember her paying per tray and that was what the cost was based on.

Hers took about a year and she has a gorgeous smile. If you have any questions, I can ask her

I had braces for 2 years, my teeth were horrible and then I stopped wearing my retainer and regret it so much

I really just want the top, I wonder if they would let me do that? or if they will make me get the bottom
