Is a 'day of' coordinator worth it?

I didn't have one - so I didn't know what I was missing! But my day went pretty smoothly nonetheless!

Mine went great without one! I worked hard with my husband on every detail and I couldn't see passing it all off to someone. I took care of everything; nothing needed tending to or emergency rescuing day of.

I wouldn't have done it without it. They were a lifesaver to say the least.

Not for me. I was pretty low key and figured if something wasn't there on the day of, I could live without it (other than vendors, and I had all of their #s and a badass friend who would have tracked them down if needed.)

I guess if you are having a gigantic wedding and lots of things could potentially go wrong, it might be worth it. We only had 100 people. I figured the Matre'd could handle whatever problems came up and I just wanted to let all the little things go the day before and just have fun.

Coming from someone who had one.... Def. NOT worth it.
I really feel I didnt need one after everything was said and done.

I didn't have one, and I didn't miss it - the day ran so smoothly it truly would have been a waste of money in my case

Christine, you do not need one at the Bourne, they take care of EVERYTHING! You're in good hands, I promise!

I think if I had the money, I should have got one. I did not realize there would be so many issues with my hall.

For me, definitely worth it.

Having one let me totally relax and enjoy my wedding and leave all the details to her. I know I had so much more fun b/c someone else was worrying about things for me.

I didn't have one and I don't feel I needed one. I think for some brides who may have family issues or feel they may be stressed out over the finer details, a coordinator is a good move- and that's not at all meant as anything negative.
