Is anyone else happy to be done with wedding planning?
There are a few people at work who are in weddings and are always so glum about the planning and running around. I'm curious, are any of you with me when I say that I am SO happy to be over the planning and am enjoying free time to do ME!

oh god yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't miss the planning at all!!!! I'm just happy to have started my life with my dh!!! At times, I do miss the anticipation leading to the wedding, and the day itself..but the planning..it was annoying and I'm glad its over!!!

I feel the same way I wish i could relive my day but I don't want to ever relive the planning I love the us time now.

so happy. Everyone said I'd be depressed but I am so loving the freedom of not having anything wedding related on my mind. Well except for the thank yous

I'm sooooo happy the stress is over!
We had a rough road to the wedding and to have everything over and done with and no one able to screw things up is great!

YES!
it is so funny bc two of my closest friends are getting married in January and April. So this year for Halloween, I actually had time to think of what to be and where to go - and they didnt even realize that Halloween was THAT week!
I love that I have time to cook something for Thanksgiving and on the day after, I can literally never get out of bed if I don't want to. I love that I can take my time with Christmas shopping and truly enjoy the holiday without worrying about what i SHOULD be doing.

Oh my god...I'm so happy it is over. I have no wanting to even look at a Bridal show on TV, read a bridal magazine (well I guess I have no reason to), nor do I even go to the 2008 boards...I just feel like I have nothing in common with brides who didn't get married yet. I feel more comfortable with Newlyweds.

I always hear that..and I don't understand what they mean by depression and 'wedding blues' after the day is over..Not only am I far from being depressed..I'm thrilled to have my life back..I was more depressed before the wedding!!!!!!!!

Yes!!! Sooooooo happy. When I look back and think of all we had to do, I don't know how we did it. I remember booking Pre-cana and saying 'how will we get through it??' haha So thankful it's over!!!

I'm so glad to be done!!!! It was really awesome when I was planning my wedding but I'm really relieved that it's done. Now I have time for myself to just do nothing if I need or want to.

I miss the time I got to spend with my mom while I was planning....but I don't miss the planning itself. I'm glad to put that energy into other areas of my life.

OMG yesss!!! I was so stressed out during my planning...and DH and I fought...there was always something to do (or DUE) or somewhere to be or follow up on....I believe planning a wedding is a FT job in and of itself lol. Glad to be done, but I'll be even happier when all my TYs are done too That being said I love to help other brides with their planning though!!!!

{{waves hand frantically in the air}} ME! I thought planning would be more fun than it was... but the fighting over pettiness with our families and DH for months at a time kind of $ucked the fun out of it for me.

like a lot of others said, would love to do the day over but the planning SOOOO glad its over and so happy to have my life back- oh & my paycheck too lol

i would do the day over and over again but not the planning. I like the planning aspect but i just had alot of bad luck and alot of NWR stuff that made the planning stressful. If it wasnt for any of that though, i think i would've loved the entire time I was planning.
