is anyone else having a horrible time concentrating today?

Seriously, I can't get ANYTHING done today. I can't concentrate at all.

I'm counting the seconds until I can leave... and I plan on leaving early!

no, im with you... but my job doesnt have a lot of demand on a daily basis ... its tough for me to concentrate on ANYTHING

nope, it's not just you......

I can't do anything becuase I'm waiting for a couple reagents to come in before I start a new project.... sigh....

sooooo, I'm spending the day doing busywork. Making stocks of all the annoying things you never want to do, and never have time to do.....

I decided to make this viscous solution the whole lab uses.... it's made out of tons of egg protein and gelatin in a small volume of water.... it's this giant foamy yellow mess that literally has to stir for 8 hours....... sigh, I started it this morning, and it's only 1/2 way done (and foamier than ever) right now

It's Friday, so no one is really here. So, it's been hard to concentrate--I'm doing busy work...and watching stuff on-line.

I am with you. I just want to shut off my computer and go to bed. I am pregnant, have one hell of a cold (can;t take anything for it) and I am exhausted. To make matters worse the stupid card reader I was using corrupted my memory card for my camera and now I can't get any of my belly pics or the last photos of my recently deceased dog off of it . Of course the photos I needed for work came off just fine. Then the card got corrupted. Will this day never end?

oh Kara I am soooooo with you!! I really don't know why I came in yesterday and today! but I didn't think I'd get paid for taking the extra days off since my vacay bank of time has officially been banged out for the year! but then when I came in to work yesterday I felt like such a jerk, b/c everyone said 'oh we didn't think you'd be in til Monday???' so I'm thinking ok, this proves that a) no one pays attention when approving my vacation request forms, and b) they must be thinking my HM ****** since I just couldn't WAIT to get back here!
