I can totally understand where you are coming from, the support and help the ladies on this site give can be alot more useful and valuable than IRL, however....i just dont see how making videos on youtube is going to save her marriage or make her feel better in any way. A wise woman would seek guidance from professionals and get appopiate legal help and representation, she just seems like shes enjoying the process of making these videos and the 'fame' that comes along with it.

I was just thinking this and thank god I am not the only one who thinks it. I wouldn't want to throw my laundry out in the open especially a prenup and situation like that. I keep stuff like that private.
some people dont have close friends who they can turn to and sometimes these forums can be helpful - i know i have shared personal information on here just with the hope that someone could help me
and honestly, in my situation ( anxiety and panic attacks ) i found more help HERE than IRL
I totally agree that sometimes people have better answers and help here than IRL. I even came on here a few time for opinions but I was just surprised when i saw this personal of a thing come out. I do feel bad for her and hope everything comes out for the best especially so close to the wedding.

I just went over to LIF and read some of the thread...i really hope everything turns out okay for Nicole...we exchanged a few FM's last year and shes a really sweet girl. Wishing her the best

Im reading it, while I agree with another poster saying its sometimes easier to post and get opinions on the boards there is a certain line-and she is delving and giving EVERY inkling about what is in fact going on. Little too much information. I fell sorry for her-and truthfully-I know this is going to sound horrible-but she is digging the hole herself. I totally understand loving someone and wanting to be with them regardless of the situation but when we decide to get married we think about the FUTURE with this person and I feel l ike she is forgetting that and only living in today. Ok, I get that she feels she has no choice-but I also feel like if HE wants to marry HER and she doesnt want to sign it he should have the power and confidence to say she wont sign it but I WANT to marry her...not I wont marry you if you dont sign-at that opoint I would tear it up in his face and walk away. If he is listening to his parents and what they want now how is it going to be later? I feel like she was dealt a dirty ugly hand but she really at this point can only blame herself for what happens from here since she is choosing to sign her name and put what she knows as 'life' on the line. Its really sad that they did this to her this close to the wedding...ME I would post pone until things were right again. But that is me

There are no circumstances under which I would sign that prenup!! And, I am not against prenups, in general. DH and I don't have one but I can see why some people have them - to each their own.
Having said that - I just cannot believe that her FH is actually suggesting that they negotiate a pre nup 9 days before their wedding. Putting aside the terms he proposed (just awful by the way) it seems almost unconscionable to me to do that to someone that you ARE SUPPOSED TO LOVE just 9 days before you stand up in front of your friends and family and promise to love and cherish them for the rest of your life !!! Hello? I just don't get that !!!
I also do not believe for one farking minute that the reason why this is being rammed down her throat 9 days before the wedding is because her FH thought his parents were taking care of it. If it is so important to him, it should have been handled in a more timely fashion, when it could have been considered in a more measured and thoughtful way. People who care about things like this don't just assume someone else - like their parents- is taking care of it.
Hopefully, she will listen to all of the fantastic advice she was given on LIW, stand up to her DH and he will back off.

and she was askign advice about it...
she has been deal a bad card from teh get go.. gl to her and her life withthe IL'S.. they have been giveing her $hit for months now.

You are correct. I remember talking to her about it. I don't know what was posted on LIF because I am not a member but from what you girls are saying something doesn't sound right.

this is unbelievable!! her FILS are trying screw the poor girl from here to eternity! agree with Peg, though, she's digging herself deeper. She needs to call the bluff.
