I love to cook and I don't really love valentines day so I figured instead of spending all that money going out Id cook.
Im going to make a 4 course meal :)
Salad Heart shaped lobster ravioli with vodka sauce Surf and turf not sure of the side a desert not sure what yet..any ideas?
some wine and lingerie...sounds like a nice night right?!??!

Fried ice cream???
vanilla icecream, scoop it and freeze it rock solid (approx. 3 to 4 hours) - make sure you some plastic wrap on it to avoid freezer burns
roll in panko breadcrumbs or use regular bread (slice off the edges) and mould it around the icecream - i use about 2 slices front and back and mush it all in the center and no tears on the bread - freeze again, for 2 hours
heatup oil, fry really quick and drizzle chocolate and whip cream and serve!

I am going to be cooking dinner as well.... i am actually looking forward to spending the entire day being all romantic and stuff!!!!

After a crazy valentine's day two years ago (trouble with reservations etc) for the past two years we've made dinner and it's been awesome. I always get to choose a romantic movie (one that DH would NEVER watch with me) and I make dinner (steaks from Citarella & some kind of seafood) and DH picks up dessert. I think a year ago, it was snowy and gross out and it was SO cozy being indoors! This year we'll be in Lake George!

IDK what we're doing on V-Day, but on Friday the 13th we're going to the Melting Pot. Yum.

We stay in for Vday!!! I can't stand going out and being on top of one another in a restaurant, or waiting an hour after a reservation to be seated. It drives me nuts.
I'll make us a nice dinner and get a good bottle of wine -- or 2

I don't know what is for dinner, but I know that I HAVE to make DH his favorite Reeses peanut butter cup ice cream.
I have the reeses molds from the hershey store in the city. I just melt chocolate and pour them in the molds and then fill it with a peanut butter ice cream that I make :) then I top it with chocolate and voila!
