Your Thank You's? I have 120 to write and i think DH should help since they were to him to. Am i wrong for asking him to help me?

In the name of efficiency, I wrote all of the thank you notes.
Technically, it's the bride's responsibility to do all thank yous..... However, I think its really nice when the groom sends thank you's, particularly to his side of the family and friends.

i wrote all but 4... it took him 3 weeks to write those 4.... i was ready to wring his neck haha but they went out finally

I really think DH should write the Thank Yous to his college and law school friends as well as his groomsmen. I will write the thank you cards to his family, since we are now all family. His share will come out to about 8 cards.

DH didn't help, I wrote them all out myself. Really I was fine with it tho. See, I was the one who wanted the big wedding, DH would've been happy just going to the courthouse. So I figured writing out the TYs was a part of having the big wedding so it was my task to complete.

I wrote them all out myself. It didn't bother me in the least. My DH's handwriting is like chicken scratch, so I knew our guests would at least be able to read ours. Plus I did them on my 'off' time & I have more then DH

Of course he should at least help you out a bit with the TYC's even if its just putting the stamps on it.......and return labels, it was 'your' wedding day, usually the brides do it all because we are a bit more particular on how things should look and besides, most girls know what to write and have better hand writting skills, but every couple is different, you do what you want but asking him for help is the right thing to do in my book and yes, my husband will be helping, he may not like it but he will still do it........

DH will definitely be helping. I wrote 50 Thank you's for the Bridal shower I had from the both of us. He's definitely helping with the wedding TY

Yup, he's helping me.........I'm writing all the cards though....he has chicken scratch for writing..... He's putting allt he photo corners on the pictures and attching them to the front of the cards.

all the TYs that were his (like his family and stuff) i had him write...and then everyone else i did. he insisted that he sign his own name to each card! lol

I would of had DH help me - but he has TERRIBLE hand writing and no one would be able to read them. So I had him do the stamps and address labels.

thats funny.....DH writing thank yous....you're so silly!
Well, first DH has terrible hand writing...so I'm not sure anyone would even be able to figure out what he wrote if he did do them. And secondly....if I asked him to do some, they'd sit on the kitchen table for about 2 months getting dusty until I asked him againto do them. At that point he'd say 'OK' and do 3, and then leave the rest for anothe rmonth or so. If my guests actually WANT their TY's to ever reach them.....its better if I just do them myself
and if I asked him to help me write them....he'd sit and watch TV while I write them out and say 'good job baby' every once in a while.

I wish I hand wrote all 104 of them including the addresses. He signed about 10 of them, the rest I just signed his name.

He is writing his guests, I am writing mine. He is a much better writer than me. Took him 2 hours to write his thank you notes to his groomsmen and they made each of them cry! Took me 5 minutes and I said thanks for being in my life LOL I am a horrible writer!

Well, I did most of them. I said he can write the Thank you's to his parents and sister's family and his two aunts.....ok so thats 4 Thank you's.....he still hasn't done it.
but the real kicker is .....he bugged me almost everyday to write them out. and his are still sitting there!

DH agreed to put the invitations in the envelopes. He his goal was to do it as quickly and as sloppy as possible. That's DH for you!
