if it's already in the fridge, I think it will be fine if you left it and made it tomorrow.. I have done it and we haven't died..

No!!!! You should never ever ever refreeze anything that you have defrosted- very dangerous bacteria.
You are better off cooking it tonight and reheating again tomorrow.

if it was defrosted in the frige or microwave, and then automatically refrigerated, there shouldn't be too much bacterial growth.... if it was left on the counter for hours, that would be dangerous... Also, how long has it been in the frige since thawing? a day is fine, 3 is not......
you COULD refreeze properly thawed and refrigerated chicken, but it would taste
definitely the best bet is to make a quick chicken dish tonight... reheated chicken tastes much better than refrozen meat

yikes.. i was not aware of this... mine was in the freezer.. then last night before i went to bed.. i put in the in the fridge... then when i got home DH was working overtime tonight so i figured i'd just make some eggs for myself so i put the chicken from the fridge back into the freezer.... should i not eat this??

you can eat it (it will be safe), but it may taste freezer-ish it depends how much it thawed before refreezing......
in the future, just leave it in the frige and eat it the next day

No - you should never refreeze meat that was already defrosted.

NEVER re-freeze! if it's only in the fridge overnight it should be fine. but the answer to this is a big fat NOOO!!!

Cook it all tonight and make something with a portion of it tonight then use the leftover chicken to make something else the next night. You could make a chicken salad or chicken tacos with the leftover chicken.
