Is there land for sale in your area????

Hi guys Im looking to buy land. Hopefully to build a house on. If you have driven by land for sale in your area please let me know. Thanks!!!!!!

I think theres land for sale in a lot of areas.

google maps might help. use the satellite feature and look for open spaces

I know Hampton Bays is still one spot on LI that isn't completely built up...but the land is ridiculously priced...my land is worth more than my house.

HM definatly cannot afford the hamptons, wish I could. Sometimes when Im driving around I see land for sale. just wondering if anyone has some good ones in their neighborhood.

vacant land is so expensive espically in suffolk. I used to research this stuff all the time for work.

2 acres of vacant land just sold by my parents house for $500k..

For that, you can buy a beautiful house.

if only it would jump out of the dirt and into my bank account so i could afford the even more ridiculous taxes for my tiny house.

Land prices in LI are pretty expensive....One option is to buy a house that is older on a decent plot of land, demo teh house and rebuild. Many times you save $$ because you don't have to pay to put in new gas/water lines because they are already there.....just another option.

it is very expensive and will cost you more than buying a house.

I know I've definitely seen lots for sale in the Newsday real estate sections--and definitely in my area--Huntington, Centerport, Greenlawn, etc.

You might want to find a builder first and go that route. Finding the land first is a big headache. It has to be zoned right, some builders wont build what you want on it and a lot of times the land is ridiculous priced.
Where are you looking some big builders on LI have websites that you can see their models and where they are building.

Looking to come back to Long Island. Hopefully Nassau (because we work in the city) but Suffolk will do. We are very interested in Modular homes. Just tryin to see if this is something we will be able to afford.
