Where do you wan to live?

There is a lot across from our house in Patchogue.

Really? Where is Patchogue? Do you like living there? Any idea who the listing company is? Thanks

I'm from Patchogue but I'm trying to think of where that land is... Patchogue is south shore Suffolk county...about an hour and a half from the city. Nearby areas are Sayville, Medford, Bayport, etc. Good luck finding some land!

Also, if you rip down and old house and re-build in the same exact footprint of the house, and leave one wall (like the most exterior garage wall) up your taxes won't go through the roof as new construction b/c your in the old footprints at the same size etc.

I am starting to see that more and more now especially in older areas where the house was kinda let go a bit and its so cheap to buy the house, rip it down and rebuild as long as you use the footprints as someone mentioned.

Across the street from my friend Jon's house its like a 2.5 plot house where this old woman passed away and the house is being torn down for two houses. It's worth to check out since now houses prices are falling and construction companies are cutting prices since its slow.
